It's normal! Every psychologist works differently, what matters is how you feel during the session.

Making the first appointment does not commit you to continue. On the contrary! Test, meet several professionals to get an idea of ​​each one, it will help you to find someone that suits you.

"I made an appointment, what happens next ?"

There are several ways to make an appointment: through email, after a few exchanges, or by making an appointment directly on the site. Once you have chosen a time slot that suits you, you will receive a confirmation email with the time and date.

As the consultations are only via Skype at the moment, I will contact you a few minutes before the session to make sure you are available and ready to begin. Make yourself comfortable in a quiet place where you feel good and make sure you will not be disturbed.

“What can i expect from the first session?”

The first session allows us to get to know each other and to establish your goals together.

We will develop a therapeutic plan using different methods (Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy…) according to your needs. Each of these therapies has specificities, but they all aim to help you find balance.

"Ok, BUT REALLY, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO TALK about?”

It is absolutely normal to feel some stress before the appointment. You don't always know what to expect.

  • How have you dealt with these issues so far?

  • What are your expectations regarding these sessions?

  • Is this the first time that you have met a psychologist?
